TifGrand is the most shade-tolerant Bermuda available, tolerating up to 50% shade — ideal for yards with afternoon tree cover. Zoysia sod (Zeon, Zenith, Empire)

Removing Old Grass and Grading the Surface
Existing vegetation — dead grass, weeds, or leftover turf — is fully removed. Laying new sod over old growth is one of the most common installation mistakes and almost always leads to rooting failure. Once the old material is cleared, we grade the surface to eliminate high and low spots, establish proper drainage slope away from structures, and create the level base that professional results require.
